For any business, an Access Control System allows for the following;

1) Remove one card from the system, instead of having to rekey the locks on your business when someone leaves.

2) Receive reports with the name of person/ persons; area accessed; door accessed; and times accessed.

3) Control certain areas accessed only by Management; Employees; Maintenance; or Daypass; etc.

4) Enable individual  access cards to activate doors only on certain days and times.

The KT-200 Door Controller is the cornerstone of your access control system. The KT-200 is capable of controlling two separate doors or a single door (with readers on each side of the door). To form the system, each KT-200 is linked to other KT-200s using an "RS-485" communication bus. A smaller initial system can grow to secure hundreds of doors just by adding more controllers and the appropriate software.

  • 2 doors / 2 readers panel
  • Built-in power supply for door locks (24 VDC)
  • 16 supervised inputs
  • 2 form C relays
  • RS-485 / RS-232 communication ports
  • Optional REB-8 relay modules (2 per KT-200)
  • Lithium batteries for memory backup
  • Status LED on board
  • ABA - Wiegand - BCD data input

The KT-300 Door Controller is the most powerful and scalable door controller Kantech offers.

Nearly unlimited doors
One controller supports up to two readers, installed on two separate doors or on a single door controlling both entry and exit. Each controller is linked to the others in the system using a "RS-485" communication bus providing for control of up to a million doors depending on the software you choose.

Expandable
Built-in Combus expansion means you can add relay, input, and output modules to connect HVAC systems, elevators, motion detectors, and more. You can also add an LCD monitor to view time and date information.

  • Controls two doors and easily links to a network
  • Update the firmware directly from system workstation
  • Fast, up to 115,200 baud
  • Onboard 5V and 12V reader power
  • Interfaces with an external alarm system
  • Automatic trouble reporting
  • Choice of two memory capacities, 128K or 512K

Kantech™ KT-400 is an Ethernet-ready four-door controller that provides 128-bit AES encrypted communication with the EntraPass system and is a highly secure solution for any security-conscious business.
KT-400 can easily be integrated into an existing EntraPass system with other Kantech controllers (KT-100 and KT-300) or can provide the foundation for a brand new security installation.

More Flexibility with Expansion Modules
There are 16 onboard inputs on the KT-400 four-door controller. Up to 240 more can be added through the addition of the new expansion modules for a total of 256 inputs. Each input can be individually used for a variety of applications including door contact, request to exit detectors, external alarm system zones, and more. Additionally, there are four onboard relay outputs, and up to 256 relay or open drain outputs can be supported.

  • Supports four readers
  • 100,000 card capacity and provides up to 20,000 concurrent events in stand-alone mode
  • 256 inputs (16 onboard with high security double end-of-line resistor configuration) and 256 outputs (four onboard) provide scalability
  • Control the occupancy level in a defined location with the anti-passback feature
  • Easy Network Connectivity with an onboard Ethernet port
  • Communicates with the EntraPass Gateway only when an event has occurred, ensuring low network bandwidth consumption (Special and Corporate Editions only)
  • Verify and configure IP settings with a built-in web configuration page
  • Supervised door lock outputs with internal or external power supply
  • LEDs provide important controller status and diagnostic information
