My DSC keypad is beeping. What do I do?

Push *2; this takes you into Trouble Mode. Check the table below to see the system trouble.

1 ....... Service required. Call your installation company for service. Press [1] and one or more of the zone lights corresponding to the following system troubles will turn ON:

1.Low Battery
2.Bell Circuit Trouble
3.General System Trouble
4.General System Tamper
5.General System Supervisory 
6.Not used 
7.PC5204 Low Battery
8.PC5204 AC Failure

2 ....... Indicates the loss of AC power. When this trouble occurs, the Trouble light will turn ON butthe keypad buzzer will not sound.

3 ....... Telephone line trouble.

4 ....... The panel has failed to communicate with the central station.

5 ....... Zone fault. Press [5] and the zone light(s) corresponding to the faulted zones will turn ON.

6....... Zone tamper. Press [6] and the zone light(s) corresponding to the tampered zones will turn ON.

7 ....... Low zone battery. This trouble is generated when a wireless device exhibits a low batterycondition.
Press [7] one, two, or three times to view which devices are experiencing battery failure.The following will occur:
Keypad Beeps Keypad Display
Press [7] ........... 1 .......... Zones with low batteries (LED keypad - zone lights 1 to 8)
Press [7] again .. 2 .......... Handheld keypads with low batteries (LED keypad - zone lights 1 to 4)
Press [7] again .. 3 .......... Wireless keys with low batteries (LED keypad - zone lights 1 to 8).

To view the battery conditions of wireless keys 9 through 16, youmust be at an LCD keypad.

8....... Loss of time on system clock. To set the system time, Push *[6]; Master Arming Code; [1]; then  24:00 hrs; DD;MM;YY. Then press # key.

Troubles:

1. My system is showing a Low Battery Trouble, what do I do?

This trouble condition indicates that the system backup battery is low. This battery is used to provide power to the alarm system in the event of AC power loss.

If this battery requires replacement, a new one may be installed or purchased from Access Security

Note:After replacing the battery, it may take up to 24 hours for the battery trouble indication to clear on the keypad.

2. How do I program the Time and Date?

This trouble indicates that the time and date need to be programmed for the alarm panel. Certain system functions require that the correct time and date be programmed.

Programming Time and Date:
Step 1 - Enter [*][6]+[Master Code]
Step 2 - Enter [1]
Step 3 - Enter Time [HH:MM]
Step 4 - Enter Date [MM:DD:YY]
Step 5 - Enter [#]

3. How do I bypass a zone?

Bypass Zone
Step 1 - Enter [*][1]
Step 2 - Enter the 2-digit number of the zone or zones (1-4) to be bypassed
Step 3 - Enter [#]

4. How do I turn the Chime On/Off?

Enable/Disable Door Chime:Enter [*][4]
When the above command is entered, the keypad will provide an audible indication of whether or not the chime has been enabled or disabled:
Chime ON = 3 rapid beeps
Chime OFF = 1 long tone

5. How do I add a user access code?

To add a user access code to the system:
Step 1 - Enter [*][5]+[Master Code]
Step 2 - Enter 01-32, 40, 41 or 42 to select the user code which is to be added
Step 3 - Enter the 4-digit number for this user
Step 4 - Enter [#]

6. How do I change a user access code?

To change the 4-digit access code number of an existing user:
Step 1 - Enter [*][5]+[Master Code]
Step 2 - Enter 01-32, 40, 41 or 42 to select the user code which is to be changed
Step 3 - Enter the new 4-digit number for this user
Step 4 - Enter [#]

7. How do I erase a user access code?

To erase a user access code to the system:
Step 1 - Enter [*][5]+[Master Code]
Step 2 - Enter 01-32, 40, 41 or 42 to select the user code which is to be erased
Step 3 - Enter [*]
Step 4 - Enter [#]

8. How do I test my security system?

9. How do I arm in Away Mode?

There are 2 methods for arming your system in the 'Away' mode. They are as follows:

Method#1:
Press and hold the 'Away' function key for 2 seconds

Method#2:
While the system is counting down the exiting delay, leave through a designated entry/exit zone.

10. How do I arm Stay Mode?

There are 2 methods for arming your system in the 'Stay' mode. They are as follows:

Method#1:
Press and hold the 'Stay' function key for 2 seconds

Method#2:
While the system is counting down the exiting delay, do not leave through a designated entry/exit zone.

11. What if my system needs servicing or repairs?
